Big girl! Grace loves to rock, squirm, and dance now. She's always on the move although she's not crawling yet. She thinks that if she pushes up on her arms and nods her head enough that eventually she'll go but so far that theory hasn't worked so we are hoping she'll try another approach (like actually moving her arms and legs) soon.
Grace is starting to increase her vocabulary and sounds. She likes to roll her tongue, make clicking noises with her tongue and even say 'la'. But no 'Ma' yet. I think she's not saying it just because Mom wants her too! She's definitely starting to show more of a personality and is a big tease! She waves and says 'Ah' when we enter the room and she shouts when we leave the room. She also likes peek-a-boo. Grace loves to stand too, but isn't very steady and we are trying not to encourage her to stand until she figures out the whole crawling thing.
9 months and still no teeth, but Grace loves trying new food, so we just keep trying new things with her even though she doesn't have any teeth. We've started to put some of our meals in the food processor so she can eat the same. She also likes cookies! ...she had her first 2 this weekend. She had a sugar cookie at a neighborhood cookout on Friday and a honey cookie at Grandma's this weekend.
