Post Baby Challenge Completed!

Saturday was the perfect day for the 500 Festival Mini Marathon! My training paid off because I had a great time during my 13.1 mile run. I took it at a slow pace, but I'm happy about that because I finished strong and I'm not sore except for my right foot. And seeing Ryan and Grace at the finish line was worth the work!

I ran the race with my neighbor Lisa. Its her 10th anniversary of her last Mini and she did a solid run the entire race even though she's been battling a foot injury for 2 weeks. You rock Lisa!
Post race. We had to pick up a Mini Marathon shirt for Grace. Its hard to read it in this picture. The shirt says 'My Mommy Runs Faster than Your Mommy'. I think she really liked it!
And to top it all off, the best reward for finishing the Mini was the neighborhood Cinco de Mayo party that night! During the race Lisa and I were chanting 'Margaritas, Margaritas' to keep us moving and those margaritas sure did taste good that night.
