Happy Father's Day!

We had a great Father's Day. Daddy finally took some time to relax and we spent the day at the pool, playing dominos, and hanging out in the backyard.

Lately Grace's favorite phrase is 'where's (Daddy, Dallas, Rylee, or anyone/thing she can think of)'. When she asks about Daddy the answer has been outside, so she goes to the back door to see if she can see him and if she's inside playing and she hears a saw running or a lawn mower she immediately says 'Daddy!' That word is typically followed up with 'outside no?' which is her way of asking to go outside. So what has Daddy been up to? He has been working outside on our patio to add on a section for a hot tub. He's been waiting for this hot tub ever since we built this house, so he has been working diligently to get ready for it. Now it is complete and he can finally relax for the summer! Check out the handy work.

We started the spring with a bare hill next to othe patio which has been quite a work in progress.

Last fall he planted 3 trees, but the landscaping had a long way to go.

I don't have pictures of the beginning of this wall, but here is the new terrace for the hot tub pad and the pergola.

The finished product looks beautiful! It is hard to think of how this looked this spring anymore!
Ryan planted 7 trees last week to make this space look terrific!

Now we can just sit and relax and enjoy the backyard! ....at least until he starts the next project.
