..when we tried to get Grace to pet her she nearly cried.

Next it was on to see the cows. Grandpa was feeding the calves, so Grace and Rylee got to see the baby calf drink a bottle. Neither of the girls wanted to help but Bryant was ready to help Grandpa.

We even checked out the tractors and Grandpa's chopper. The kids thought it was cool to sit up in the cab of the chopper.

We also had to check out the big cows and Daddy and Brad went into the milking parlor to see Grandpa milking.

Grace and Rylee liked their visit to the farm. When we were finished it was party time! We had Grace's party at Marion Community park which worked out very well. The kids were able to play on the playground and Caleb and Blake even played some baseball. Bryant liked to climb on the playground.

Grace liked the slide.

Grace liked the slide.

And Lydia's favorite was the monkey bars.

Next was time for pizza and cupcakes! Grace loved all of the attention and was very excited when everyone sang Happy Birthday to her.

Grace was ready with her super cheesy smile all night long.

Next it was time for presents! Grace had plenty of help from her cousins and Rylee while opening presents.

Grace even got a Big Sister shirt from Mom and Dad. Yes, we are expecting in April, and this was how we told our family. Everyone was very excited....including Grace....even though we gave the shirt back to Rylee at the end of the party since we borrowed it from her.

Grandma and Grandpa Dippold

All the kids even stopped for a picture...sort of.

2 has been great so far! Grace is very charming now and likes to talk and tell stories and tries to get away a lot of mischevious stuff. She calls Daddy 'Ryan' even though she knows that she's supposed to call him Daddy. She also really has been enjoying spending time with Mom and Dad so we get lots of rocking time. So far so good with the terrific twos!

Stats:
Grace's 2 year check up went great. She was 36.5 inches which puts her in the 95% and she weighed 26.4 lbs which wasn't much more than she weighed at 18 months but still in the 65%.

Love the black and white pictures of the kids (and adults) on the farm. We may have to visit the homeplace and takes some pics with G/G Broerman.
We can't wait for baby Dippold! Grandma & Grandpa Meier will have their hands full with 3 grandchildren born within 17 months!
