State Fair!

Grace had her first experience with the State Fair this year. We took the fair train down to the fair grounds. Grace wasn't so sure of the train at first, but after we got going she loved it and waved out the window to all the cars and told us that there were monkees in the trees on the side of the tracks.

Grace enjoyed the Riley Kids park at the fair. She road on a tractor.

She picked apples.

She fed grain to the cows.

Grace also got to ride the ponies. It took her awhile to decide whether she wanted to ride, and once she did she was smug as if she's ridden a pony a million times. But I think she enjoyed it.

And of course we had to enjoy the fair food also. Grace's favorite was the corn on the cob.
